Spear ever see Brewsters Millions? A vote for Trump is a vote for none of the above. People are that sick of traditional politicians.

I understand your first reply, again I am speaking on behalf of the socialist idiot who won second place in the poll. I have a list of a few who I really like, and I too am sick of politicians in general, but I certainly don't feel at ease that there's over 340k people out of the million or so voters who chose Bernie freakin Sanders.

And why are you shocked that I go to Drudge?

No worries, you have to read the enemy's notes to be aware of what they're going to conjure up next.

Doug that is about how I would of expected to be at this point. Clinton is losing ground fast. Who else are the liberals going to vote for? Sanders is the only remaining choice for libs.

Trump will break conservatives hearts at some point. Only because he is not a conservative.

I'm not shocked at all, sad...yes, shocked...no. About half of the population is stupid enough to buy into the brain dead BS of the socialist left and it's socialist leftwing utopian painting full of unicorns and rainbow farts. Sickening.

I know, I know, but I wouldn't expect him to get THAT much of a vote. Maybe I am blind to the audience that Drudge gets. Either way, I just thought it was interesting.

Let me get this right, 30% of the people taking this pole would vote for a guy that has a net worth of less than $760,000 on a $174,000 a year salary with a declared earnings of $205,000 in 2014. He has between $25,000 and $65,000 in credit card debt, and he wants to fix income inequality? What about his financial situation says he has a damn clue about finances? The guy must be a complete idiot, he's been making a top 5% salary for over 25 years while in congress and basically has nothing to show for it. People think this guy is qualified to run this country??????? SMH

At least the democrats are finally open about voting for a socialist, they have been doing it for years.

I too was very surprised by the amount of votes Bernie got. Especially since it was a Drudge poll. Nothing against Drudge, read it everyday, just thought it was mostly right leaning readers. I guess it proves the saying that the republic will end when over half of the citizens realize that they can vote themselves money. That's where we are now in this country or quickly approaching that tipping point in my opinion.

Trump scares the crap out of me. Partially for what you stated above but also because I believe his ego will get in the way of him becoming an effective president.

Those of us in Minnesota remember the Jesse Ventura fiasco, Donald will be a repeat of this on a national and international scale

My wife has explained that phenomenon before. It's the same reason Obama beat Clinton in '08. It's because Sanders is NOT Clinton. Clinton is not just disliked by Republicans or those who lean towards the Republican side. Hordes of Democrats dislike Clinton.

There's a potential difference between Ventura and Trump though, Ventura was not on professional par with Trump. I doubt Ventura ever even had a whiff of the kind of business dealings Trump has handled his entire life.

I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing but I know Ventura has all the ego and brass but very little of the actual experience that Trump has in dealing with unimaginably big and important situations. His only real world test in anything comparable at all was being the governor and he failed at that.

The poll is more indicative of the anti-establishment and contrarian bend of the "typical" Drudge reader than their actual ideology.
Plus I'm sure a lot of brain dead pot smoking college kids retweeted the link to the poll...Sanders fans are VERY similar to Rand Paul fans in their rabidity. And their vapidity and naïveté as well...

Rumors of Bloomberg making a 3rd party run may be as disastrous to the D's as Trump or Carson doing so for the R's.

Wouldn't mind seeing it happen for that result, but to think Obama as the biggest gun seller could be challenged if Bloomberg gets in.

People are probably panic buying already

I'm just happy to see Hilary way down the list. Not familiar with the Sanders guy but if folks on this site aren't excited about him, then I would say I'm not either.
