Has anyone seen the Craig Morgan hunting show on the Outdoor channel? I don't have TV and I like some of his music. Just curious to know what kind of an outdoorsman he is. Legit or not? Ethical or not? All about the racks or in it for the experience?

It is a hunting show who knows if it is genuine or real.

I watched a few episodes appx 3-4 years ago.
From what I remember I liked it for the most part. It followed him on a Midwest leg of his tour and he would take a couple days to hit the woods on various stops. In particular I remember a turkey hunt near Grand Rapids MI that was pretty cool. Then he cooked it up and took it backstage to give his crew. You could tell they liked working with him and he seemed to be a genuinely good guy.

It was entertaining, but not real in depth. You're probably not going to learn anything about hunting per se, but it was a good show. I know Morgan also does a lot of USO/military charity work so he's OK in my book.

I had a chance encounter with him a few years ago. He was in town hunting just north of me and was in line ahead of me buying his hunting license. We ended up standing around and BS'in for nearly an hour talking hunting. I didn't even realize who he was till after the fact when my girl told me. Just seemed like your ordinary every day dude that was ate up with hunting.

Can't say I've seen his show more than a time or two however I've met him several times and he's about as nice of a guy as you could hope to talk hunting with.

I saw it once or twice and it seemed ok. All I remember is him having a climbing stand or hang on stand set up in his house to watch tv in or something haha

Met him at a songwriters thing in Chattanooga. He was a cool cat. Loved talking hunting but was really big on military support. Made me like him even if he sings commercial country.
