http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/12/08/theresa-vail-charged-with-illegally-shooting-grizzly-bear-in-alaska/?intcmp=hpff So much for brains and beauty... There goes her show and probably her crown. If she's still in the Guard she could very well get a dishonorable discharge out of this, too. Way to pee away 3 careers at the same time. She should know from her military time that it's not the initial act that's a crime- it's the cover up.
She should have owned it, paid the fine, and went on about it. She could have recovered from that. No way she will now.
I get sick of seeing female hunters on tv that are just there because of looks and/or money. Obviously u must have money to be on tv, but I still get sick of it. Just like I don't waste one second of my life watching crook spann either.
Uncle Ted would have her join his show but she is a little too old for him, and she would probably be creeped out by him.
I just don't understand why these people have to try and cover up stuff like this. You made a mistake, turn yourself in and pay the fine. Use it as a teaching moment on your show. People will respect your honesty and be much more interested in watching your show knowing you were giving the viewers a real and honest hunting experience.
Obviously I don't have the audience that these people do, but what you get from me on my videos is honesty. I don't fake it for the camera, you get real, honest, raw emotion. When I get my video put together from this years kill, that will be evident as I'll have to be bleeping out about 5 seconds of profanity laced emotion after I saw my arrow hit way back of my target. I'm not going to sugar coat it. You don't see me smiling and saying I "smoked him" when I didn't. You get the real reactions, Something I wish every show did.
She will get a show if she antes up the money. Depends on how many of her sponsors decide to hang around now. Hopefully they will distance themselves from her. Its all about the money on Outdoor Tv. The Outdoor Channel is by far the most expensive network to air a show. If she wants to pay, she will stay on the air.
It did say that she and her team alerted the authorities so at least she eventually did the right thing. Whether she did it because they were on to her or were close to figuring out what happened, who knows.
I have 0 interest in watching a pimped out ex beauty queen as she "roughs it" hunting big game. Pathetic.
I've never heard of her. I'd say she's just a carbon copy of all the other hot chicks who run around on TV with a gun but have no clue what their doing.
Fletch shhh, that is my idea for my hunting and fishing show. Instead of filming me driving my truck I would have young scantily clad assistants hanging stands on camera.
As long as you don't go ruining it with actually killing things and then taking hero shots with the stands laying on the fish or animal. I think you will go farther than 99% of the guys running around with cameras now. Your show could be, "Chase your dreams.......wet or dry".
It would be like the Man show goes hunting and fishing, I could use a guy like you to do a segment, the hell with cooking segments you could do craft beers that go with fish and game, you could pick your own assistants.
