I am traveling this week so I have not had the chance to watch any of the coverage and aftermath interviews. Wondering if the president is going to once again say that different gun laws would have prevented this. Is this going to be called what it is a terrorist action?

I've heard him talk about not making decisions based off emotion and also about making a small changes that will make a difference down the road. Seems like he forgets all of that when it comes to a shooting that helps push his agenda.

Stupid, it's like a psychopath murdering someone with a hammer and then wanting to outlaw hammers.

When are we going to acknowledge we're at war with Islam? Islam sure as hell realizes it's at war with us. The Koran necessitates it and the bible predicted it.

Gun laws could have tried to stop it, too. Granted, they (Shooters) were in full body armor...but what if people inside were carrying legally and could have shot them? Long shot, yes, but it is a possibility. Did the news release as to what kind of dispute happened at the Christmas party that triggered this? I heard on the news this morning that is why they think it was this place.

So many lives changed this holiday season.

He was saying it less than a couple hours after the first reports, well before the two Jihadi's were gunned down...with guns....

I don't believe this is the result of any type of dispute. This took quite of bit of preparation. Not sure about you but I don't keep a bunch of pipe bombs, black rifles and pistols, body amour, and other tactical gear around the house in the event I get into a pissing match with someone.

I couldn't agree more. It will likely be disguised by many as a workplace violence situation though. At least that's what I think anyways.

Good thing they were in a gun free zone. Gun free zones work about as well as criminals listening to gun laws. I won't bring up their religion, either, I'm sure most know where I stand on that.

thankfully the "pipe bombs" were just pipe stuffed with rags, could have been a lot more casualties.

I'm sick of every time there is a shooting everybody jumps to the tool (gun in this case). I know in my 45 years guns have always been plentiful and easy to access. But we didn't always have these problems. So what has changed because it isn't the guns?

I must have a bunch of lazy guns.

I went to work and they were all there ready for action and now that I'm back home, I see that while I was gone my oil tank was filled, the mail came and Fed Ex dropped off a package and those lazy guns didn't shoot a single one of them!

I am now making my wife refuse to go on business trips. we are staying out of big cities and crowded events. time to be a hermit. getting tired of our psychopath president not facing reality of todays world. someone guns down his family he will wish he had a gun to protect them. he has a house big enough why don't he host a few refugee families and a couple of terrorists? that is what he is expecting all of America to do except him.

If your goal was to remove guns from the American citizens, what do you think the best tactic would be? I personally think that is what were are seeing. I don't believe these are all just random and unrelated. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I believe these are calculated and well thought out events, all trying to sway public opinion.

It's interesting how they just reported from the police/FBI interview that the lady was from Pakistan on a Visa and the guy had visited Pakistan and returned from there in July 2014....but yet our government didn't have either one on a watch list of any type. Unreal in my book.

I'm with you and I also think it goes far beyond gun control.

Mental health issue not gun issue.
