Very pleased that the hated Yankees are out of the post season. Hope the Cubs can give all of us fans a post season victory, a long awaited victory.
Win or lose this season was more of a success than I ever envisioned. Figured we were still a year away from threatening....pleasantly surprised and optimistic about our chances!
Cubs Astros world series, the we used to suck series. If the Cubs made the series I would guess a lot of bear fans will claim to be long suffering Cubs fans.

As a cardinals fan I think you gotta wanna see the Cubs instead of Pirates. Bullpen becomes crucial in playoffs...and the Cubs are a roller coaster and I give edge there to Pirates as much as it pains me to say that as a Cubs fan.

As a cards fan, I'm pulling for the pirates. Not that I dislike the cubs, more so that the Cubs have been kicking our *** all year.
I know the records. The pirates don't scare me, the cubs do. We can't win at wrigley and the cubs lineup is too deep to pitch around hitters. I don't expect a deep playoff run for stl this year.
i agree, but then agian this is October and funny things happen during the playoffs. i think the Cards matched up pretty evenly between the two all year. Cubs or Pirates it will be a good one!
