Polarizing topic but I'm really curious. The GOP has like 20 people running and many of those are actually plausible.

Can anyone beat Hillary for the Democrat nomination? I doubt it.

So who would you cast your vote for today?

Honestly I like the drive and determination that trump is showing.. Don't know much about the rest but I have liked what I have seen with trump.

I think he would have a good chance to beat Hilary if he gets the nomination, like the Benghazi thing he wouldn't have let that go like Romney did

I think it will be between bush and trump

Jim Webb is well qualified candidate as well a stand up honorable individual. He should beat Hillary with ease....however we know how politics work in America .

Clinton is a despicable human being and shouldn't even be a consideration, however she has the government corporate complex behind her so she most likely will win it.., shows you the sad state we are in.

The Republican nominee will most likely be an establishment insider as well with the same backers as Clinton hedging their bets.

At first I thought the Trump thing was kinda a joke. His whole reality TV stint kinda turned me off on taking him seriously, but the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to warm up to the idea. Here's why: He's not a career politician. This country needs somebody to run the country that has real world experience, not bureaucracy, and politics. We need someone that willing to stand up for what they believe is right for the people, not what's best for the companies that lined their pockets on the campaign trail. We need someone that is willing to offend people, willing to wake people up from their trance and willing to get it all done in 4 years without worrying about being re-elected. I don't know if Trump is that guy, but so far he's the closest I've seen this time around. But hey, I still think Romney would have been a solid choice.

I think the odds are greater than 50/50 Hilary is your next president.

Rand Paul. He isn't perfect, but out of the legitimate contenders, he would get my vote as of now.

Its between trump and bobby J. for me. I think trump not having to not hold his tongue and please supporters and speaking his mind is something the country hasn't seen in many years and I like it, and bobby J. for gov. in Louisiana for 8 years he also speaks is mind and seeing his stances and getting our state where it is today I'd be happy to vote him in as of now.

Either Carson or Trump because neither one of them are politicians.

Rand Paul or Ted Cruz. I'm really liking Rand's tax idea.

Trump says things people like to hear but he'd be an awful president.

I agree with Christine re. Trump. He says a lot of what needs to be said, but he has an AWFUL lota baggage. I am and have been for a couple years been a Scott Walker supporter.

No Trump or Bush for this guy. Hilary would shred Trump with his personal history and nobody that could vote should want Bush in office. Cruz would be good but he has to not be so hard line with the conservative agenda and the same with Paul.

Trump speaks his mind and that is refreshing for someone running for office. I think Walker has done some good things with a bad situation. I'm not quite sure that I buy into the whole libertarian political stump, some parts I'm a fan of but others such as foreign policy I'm not so sure of so I'm not ready to vote for Paul but as Christine said I do like the flat tax or more appropriately termed fair tax idea. I guess right now I would have to say Walker. I'd be curious to see how the ones from Wisconsin view Walker.

I'm sick of politics really because they all tell you what you want to hear but really never get anything accomplished. This country needs some real reform but politically no one wants to tackle the tough issues such as entitlement programs and welfare. That is the ticking time bomb in our financial future in addition to our massive debt.

I don't know if I could make it through another term or two with Hil-Obama. and as someone mentioned above "move to Canada" I don't know if that would be far enough away in that event.

That may be true. At the same time Hilary has twice the political baggage. Unfortunately anyone that votes for Hilary is ignorant and doesn't care. They will vote just to be voting for her....

I hope hillary doesn't get it. Most of the things that Obama pushed for since he's been president Hillary supported. I disagreed with a lot of things that Obama has done. Hillary would not be a good choice in my opinion.

Can't we just get a President with some facial hair? For real. Old school. Turn back the tide on the "TV" President and get back to men speaking like men instead of dancing around and holding everyone hands.

I can tell you who I would never vote for...Trump. That guy would do way more harm then good to this country. There is no doubt in my mind he will excel at certain things but man that guy is a moron. I personally don't see anyone who stands out as a good choice IMO.
