A pretty good run (for me)

I'm working hard to get ready for the Navy 10 Nautical Miler on 07 June. I went for an 8 mile run Saturday on the "perimeter road" on the Navy Base in Millington, TN. It's a pretty flat course, so that helped.

After the 10 Nautical Miler, I'll get to relax a bit before I start training for the Marathon in December.

    Thank you, Bill.

Actually, 8 miles is nothing compared to what's coming. In a few months 8 miles will be a mid-week short run. :)

Good luck. I loved running on base at night when I was stationed in Lemoore, CA. Good luck on your runs.

I was at Lemoore for a while back in 1981. It was too hot there to run anytime other than nighttime.

That is true. I tried once. Felt like I was hit with pepper spray. Yes I have had OC training. Not fun.

I have a Garmin Forerunner 220 and I'm using the Garmin Connect app. They both seem very decent and do a really good job at letting you know all the stats of your run.
