If you put on your black trench coat, strap your AR-15 to your back, then proceed to walk down the busiest street in your city, only to pull out your phone and start recording while repeating "I do not consent to be questioned, I do not consent to be questioned" over and over when the inevitable cop comes up to you, then rush home to post it on Youtube as some example of how our rights are being infringed upon.

    I HATE YOU.

Yup...no true gun supporter is a fan of them. PERIOD. (at least in my opinion)

Agreed. And they are doing way more harm than good.

I'm about as pro 2nd amendment as they come. With that said, I absolutely hate when this stuff surfaces. No matter what we do, there will always be a subset of people that are anti gun. As long as they aren't infringing on my rights I respect their opinion the same as I expect mine to be respected. Purposefully carrying openly just to get a reaction is as stupid as it gets.

I have no problems with being discreet while I carry and actually prefer it. I don't think it should be law because I feel there are better things for us to focus on regulating and creating laws for, but IMHO I feel like the pro second amendment crowd needs to self regulate this type of thing.

I support concealed and open carry for handguns but never understood carrying around a rifle in public. It does more harm than good in regards to public perception.

There is a guy in my beat area that walks around with a rifle on his back. Walks around in a neighborhood of 500K houses with a rifle over his shoulder to provoke calls from the public. I dont get it. Just get a handgun and carry conceal.

I agree with all of the above. I am pro-2A, NRA Life Member, and I support Constitutional Carry, but these guys are just asking for trouble. Their judgement in doing what they're doing questions me on what other bad judgement they have.

Just because you can do something, doesn't necessarily mean that you should.

I don't get it either, but there are wacko's in every cause out there going over the top. PETA morons throwing fake blood on people, morons from Westboro baptist disrespecting fallen soldiers and their families, Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton race baiting every chance they get, Waco religious cults, Muslim suicide bombers, nutbag environnmentalist chaining themselves to trees.

The list goes on an on of people doing stupid things in the name of their cause.

We're a "shall issue" state. Open carry is legal here, but why do some people feel they have to make a spectacle of it?

The second amendment covers the right to bear arms. So bear arms concealed.

Can't really say anymore then what as already been said except I totally agree. They're idiots and playing right into the hand that gun owners are nut jobs.

The thing I never understood is why even try to be a Richard. If a officers stops you and wants ID or whatever just show it and move on. It's no different then traffic stops, buying tobacco or alcohol, or numerous other things. Your rights aren't being infringed to show ID.

If you really want to question the actions of idiots, take a look at who's residing in the White house.

Not a fan of open carry period. Draws unnecessary attention. I'll keep mine on my ankle or under my jacket and maintain some element of surprise.

I'm not a fan of open carry, either. I don't want the extra attention, whether it be normal people or the crazies thinking of robbing the place. Mine will always stay in my IWB holster :tu:

I also always hated how stupid they can be and the fact that they sound like a broken record. I see why they are doing it though
