My grandpa is in the hospital with pneumonia and kidney infection (and now stones). He's been recovering from a stroke from a few years ago and he's been pretty bed ridden with muscle deterioration so his body isn't in the best of condition to handle all this. Luckily they were able to clean out his lungs to help with the pneumonia but we're not sure about how bad his kidneys are yet. He's on IVs and antibiotics but he could really use the power of thoughts and prayers. This man got me into hunting when I was sitting on his lap as a kid. He taught me how to shoot a traditional bow and gave me my first compound. He's been an unstoppable hero in my eyes so it's hard to see him like this.
I'll pray for your grandpa. I know how you feel my grandma went through a similar thing with pneumonia.
I know how difficult that is man. I lived it with my great grandmother. She raised me and taught me how to cook, work with wood, tend to a garden, and fish. She suffered from a stroke and never fully recovered after that. I miss her something fierce but I know she's in a better place. & I haven't forgotten her lessons to me. I'm praying for your grandpa's recovery and that the Lord give you and your family the strength and patience to deal with a sick member of the family. No matter what keep The lord first and don't forget the lessons your grandpa taught you. He will live one through you.
First post here on this site and I am more than happy to pray hard for your grandfather and I will. Fredo
Things don't look good. The infection has shut his kidneys down completely and dialysis would really diminish his already limited quality of life. I appreciate all the thoughts, wishes, and prayers.
