What do you guys think is better and why? I have used both and like both. Both have advantages. Just wanted to see your guys thoughts Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Android may have better technical features in some models but iPhones are just easier. The only people saying otherwise are just trying to go against the norm. Main reason I use one is MacBooks are hands down better than PC laptops... And the way iPhones integrate with your MacBook makes backing things up and accessing things stupid easy.
Yes on both statements. I got the 5s in December and I like it way more than my android. Also like you said syncing it up with my macbook is so easy. I can keep my music, apps, contacts, and calendar synced up which is nice to have. Another small thing is the cases are way better for the iPhones.
Agree with both of you. I tried a Nexus 5 and still favor the iPhone a bit. Best thing about my Nexus is that I check trail cameras with a micro USB to SD card reader. That really comes in handy and is worth a lot to me Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
You can still do that with the iPhone just takes a different piece. I think it's called airstash. Sent from my iPhone
Yeah I know you can but airstash doesn't plug into my phone and is $80-$100 vs. $6. The nexus 5 isn't terrible but I think I will be going back to a iPhone when my contract is up Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Android. This is like Ford vs. Chevy. Democrat vs. Republican. You will never convince either side the other is better. Use what you are comfortable with. I prefer android. Just what I'm used to. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4.
If it's not an iPhone, well it's just not an iPhone. I don't have a MacBook but I do use an iPad Mini almost exclusively and as mentioned syncing is butt simple. I check my trail cam SD cards with the mini using an SD card reader. It will NOT work on an iPhone though. Photo Stream will send the pics to my phone if I want to show anything to someone on happenstance. Sent from my iPad Mini using Tapatalk Bows, Broadheads and Backstraps
I got an S4 a year ago and am content. Larger screen size is easier for my failing eyes, it had a better camera, enough app availability and capabilities to meet my needs. The ability to pop in add cards for cam checks is nice, but also allows me to up my storage as I need for day to day (dump more music on, a video, pics, work docs or whatever). My wife and some of my kids have iphones, which work for them. We all agree that otterboxes are money well spent for either.
iPhone. Get the cell phone the others are trying to beat. As mentioned iPhones are stupid simple and just work great.
Agree with others. Droid is a little more technical and has a few more bells and whistles, Iphone is if you want reliable simplicity. I've had both and I find myself leaning toward another Iphone since my contract is up. I love the visual voicemail with the Iphone and for someone that spends most of their day on the phone, that's pretty important
I have the 5s now and I think that's plenty big for a phone. Anything big would just be a hassle to pocket or carry around. What phone do you have? Sent from my iPhone
I absolutely love my Galaxy note II My daughter uses an iphone and my son did but switched to an htc. My wife uses the Galaxy s3. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk
I have the S4 which is wider and taller than the 5s, but just a touch thicker. I carry it all of the time with no problems. Slips right in my pocket. I will say (since I'm not a blinded fanboy), that the S4 is not my favorite that I've owned. There are certain quirks I really don't like, but I refuse to buy new phones any more often than the 2yr period unless I break one. Apple is losing ground. I don't, however, believe that to be a sign of poor technology. I just think there is increased competition from a lot of newcomers, AND apple isn't attacking the highest volume segment - the mid-range/budget smartphones. I read an article a few weeks ago summarizing marketing presentation by Apple and it was highlighting where the largest growth in the smartphone market has been in the past year. It clearly showed people are buying more of the budget friendly smartphones over the flagship models. The presentation summary was focused on how they (Apple) could address this segment or whether they would chose to. Again, I think they both have their positives and negatives. Anyone who touts one or the other as the end all be all, turn and run :D
I agree everyone is stepping up and apple is just holding steady. I had androids for years before this phone and liked them. They were simple to use and got the job done, I just like the looks and layout/feature of the iPhone better. I do think apple tried to move towards a more budget friendly phone with the 5c and from what I've seen around here at least, is a ton of people bought them. Sent from my iPhone
