My guns are all at the bottom of the Chesapeake Bay. There were a lot of boating accidents around here last year.

We have no guns. But if we did, this might be the latest addition to the stable. Limper scope on it until the Mark 4 ER/T gets here (hypothetically of course).

My 30-06 is made by savage and its pretty nice but if I were to get something that looked like that, I would go with Lapua or something else in that quality range. Still, I wouldnt want to be on the receiving end of that thing anytime soon

Lapua is 4-6 bucks a round unless you reload versus under a buck a round or a little more for .308/7.62x51. Considering the longest confirmed kill with a .308 is a tad over 1300 yards I would take the .308.

yea we reload but would have to buy the dyes and yea there pretty awesome the .308. the only reason i would get a 338 is to say i have one and long range shooting. 338 is overkill for anything i will be hunting anytime soon.
