Last year I did a huge batch of Philly cheese steaks. Was very good and my buddies and everyone all enjoyed em. But gonna go a different route this year.

This year we are probably doing chili and some dips. My latest dip addiction is jalapeno popper dip. Two packages cream cheese, 1 cup mayo, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, one jar jalapenos (juice included). mix ingredients together and put in a casserole dish. Take 1 or 2 (cant remember) cups panko bread crumbs and combine with a stick of melted butter and mix well. Spread bread crumbs on top of cream cheese mixture, bake at 425* 20 - 30 minutes until crumb topping is lightly browned.

Oh wow I'm definitely gonna try that dip out. That sounds awesome. Thx for the recipe. :)

I usually do the old fashioned buffalo chicken dip but I'm gonna try that jalapeno popper dip for sure.

where are those bread crumbs usually located in store? I can't say that I ever remember seeing that kind. Would any bread crumbs work?

Panko breadcrumbs are usually with the oriental type foods(in my grocery store). They're the best kind of breadcrumbs in my opinion.

I like wings but my brother and his wife don't... so I'll probably skip them since I'm going to his house. I'll make some killer Guacamole and Salsa recipes. Just a lot of damn work to do though. I'll make the wings Saturday and eat them while watching some basketball. LOL All my recipes are from scratch... to store bought bullcrap.

I was a big buffalo chicken dip guy as well, until I tried this one and now its my new go to recipe.

Ive used regular bread crumbs before and it turned out just fine.

    Typical Superbowl spread:
*DIY sub sandwiches, on homemade rolls. I'll prep the fixings, but you make them your own way.
*Wings two ways: hot and teriyaki
    *Chips/Dip (dip tbd)
    *Drinks

Okay. My task list is done for the day. I have sweatpants and a sweatshirt on. I turned up the heat to 70. I just opened my first beer. Smoked Salmon and crackers are out for a snack. We are having extreme build your own nachos getting ready in the slowcooker for dinner and to munch on during the game. Time to indulge.
