Congrats to each of you! As a group, our average from the first week to the cumulative average for the whole league went from a 282, to a 289. That's a drastic improvement that each of you made during this league, hopefully you guys learned a few things that you can apply in the woods this fall or on the 3D course this summer. Final standings................
Thanks, Matt. I learned a lot about consistent shooting and form. Dubbya, what can I say. You outshot me those last few weeks, and your X count...wow! Thanks for the push. I was impressed with everyone's scores, really. To think many of us were shooting outside, and plenty of it was in cold conditions with hunter equipment.
I've never even taken an interest in shooting paper until John started talking about about this on the way home from last weekend's 3d shoot... sounded like fun. Might have to give it a go next year.
Hope to see you give it a try next year Greg. The thing I love about indoors is that you can get quality practice in without sacrificing so much time from the more important things in life. To get really good at 3D, you really need to look at targets on a daily basis or at least several times a week, something thats difficult for those of us that work for a living or that have a family. For indoors, my best practice takes place in 30 minutes @ 10 yards in my basement and on a 25 cent target!!
