Does string loop thickness affect accuracy ? I just put on a thin string loop and it seemed to tightened the couple of groups that I shot. I have never heard anybody talk about the differences in materials and how it affects accuracy, if at all. Feed back please.

I don't think it would but I guess it could depending upon what type of release you use. I used to shoot a little goose and the flat part of the hook would hang on the d-loop. Took me awhile to figure that out. I use an excuse now and never had an issue.

Some material lend itself to preforming better with different styles of release aids.
For example the stiffer thinner Gibbs loop material is excellent with a hook style release. It hooks it shape and seems to be forgiving to some archers with inconsistent anchor placement.
While BCY is much more flexible and lends itself to hand held releases where your rotating through the shot.

So yes different material may suit your style better.
