I want to get a few more FPS from my setup. After doing some research and reading, I've found a few threads on Speed Buttons. My current setup is:

    Hoyt Razortec@#67-70 DW, 28"DL
    D-loop, G5meta peep, 2-monkey on string
    String-stop, limbsaver stabilizer&dampners.

My question is, could the monkey tails be removed, replaced with speed buttons, with out being robbed on quiet setup?

Not a monkey tails fan here. I always look for a quiet bow that doesn't need those. I would definitely try the speed nocks/buttons. Some bows do gain speed but some do not.

Yes and no, speed nocks can add FPS and there would be a point that adding to many will have a negative impact on fps, unless your shop will let you put a set on and shoot through a chrono, put a 2nd set on, shoot through a chrono etc etc, you're better off not putting em on unless you have your own tools or find a very willing shop to go though an entire process with you. If your factory strings came with them, and you replace your strings, no issues getting speed nocks put back on.

You don't have to take the monkey tails off to add speed nocks.

If the bow leaves the manufacturer with speed nocks installed on the string, then you would be wise to put them back on in the same place as factory specs on replacement strings. I'd be willing to bet that these companies spend a great deal of time squeezing out the best performance on these bows and have the nock placement, and number dialed in. Otherwise, why do they put them on at all?

I was going to use the buttons by Pine Ridge, etc, but decided to just keep doing what I have always done and use regular brass covered in shrink tubing. I've never had a an issue with them and if crimped on properly, would be impossible for them to come off the string.

I have used the TPU's and they definitely work. Keep an eye on them because they can split and come apart
