so i recently bit the bullet and bought a new halon to upgrade for my mathews q2xl. i have the sight options narrowed down to 3. what I've picked out so far is A) HHA optimizer lite king pin with dovetail, $339 on amazon B) CBE tek hybrid pro with single pin housing, $278 on amazon or C) Montana Black Gold ascent ambush with either 4 or 6 inch dove tail, $218 with 4 inch dovetail. leaning more towards the CBE or Black gold at this point due to price point, but i guess if the wife is already upset over the new bow, i might as well go for it all..... so if someone can sway me one way or the other it would be much appreciated. thanks in advance
Can't go wrong with any of them. I would try and look at each of them to see which one your eye sees the best.
I have a Halon on order too, and am leaning toward the HHA Optimizer King Pin. I don't plan on getting the dove tail as I don't see the need in a hunting rig. If you're interested in a multi-pin adjustable, you might want to wait for the Axcel Accustat that comes out after ATA. I'm going to wait for some more reviews on the Accustat, although I might end up with the King Pin (2", 0.019).
