The manual on my 2014 Bear Effects bow warns of installing limb dampeners no further then 2" out from the riser. I installed my broadband limbsavers as recommended and all seems fine. My question is, why do they recommend this? There is plenty of length to put them further out on the limb and still stay clear of the cams...
Maybe has something to do with the further out on the limbs the more deflection. Maybe just a fear of the flying off over time? Just a guess
