Hoyt Air Shocks

    Should the shocks be touching the limbs or off the limbs? Seems like if they're not touching it would make more noise.

    Seems to me like they should be just touching,I have never owned a hoyt though so I cant relate.
    I am assuming you dont mean at full draw.

    Right not at full draw. Just sitting there. They are about 1/8" away from the limbs.

    Are they adjustable ?
    You could try calling/emailing hoyt and see what they suggest.

    Yeah theres a little gap in mine but thats just how they sit. If you take them off and shoot you can tell they're working, at least if you are inside

    I'm amazed at how quite this bow is. I'm shooting a 400gr Maxima Red at 328fps with nothing in the string but peep & a loop & it's quieter than my Chill R with monkey tails on string & cables.
