Say your shooting 60# limbs bottomed out (61+#s) at 28.5" DL with an arrow 29" nock throat to installed insert - who makes an arrow in a 340 spine that I can get to a 340-350g arrow dressed out with 100g head, fletchings, etc. I'm having a hard time finding a 340 spine less than 8.2gpi.
Thanks man, I appreciate it. I'd never heard of the Hex before and my buddy was looking at a bow that came with 6 the other day and the very next day they came up and then you mention them today. LOL!
That's funny . They have excellent straightness, the down side for some is they are H sized. I have a bunch of H components from shooting Bloodlines so it is no big deal to me.
"H" size means 6mm shafts in Easton terms. It's the skinniest you can go and not go have to use HIT inserts or going to outserts. Sticking with the spine you're looking at BEA carnivores should get you in the target range for weight. Easton's online calculator puts you in a 400 spine. If you went shorter so you could drop down more comfortably into a 400 spine, it would open up a lot more options for shafts that eould meet your target weight range.
