I have been thinking about switching from my wrist strap to a BT release. Does anyone recommend any AFFORDABLE BT release that I should look into or looking to let go of one? I'm a little hesitant to spend $80 or more on a release that may not work for me. Thank for the help!

For new users to BT release aids-best is to make a trip to the nearest/nest archery shop around and test first. I know this can be tough for those that don't have a good pro shop nearby, but really you'll just be wasting money if you don't. A release is as personal as the bow itself. People can make all the recommendations they want, but at the end of the day, that their personal preference. A preference which might not work for you. In addition, once you test them out, you will find that, there's a reason some of them cost $50 and some are $250. Just like your bow, your strings, or you arrows...you get what you pay for. The a lot at the Scott Hexx. Its a hinge but has a strap and is pretty decently priced. Great for beginners. I tried one last year but liked the thumb releases better.
