Hello, I have a PSE and was wondering what is the best way to set my string stop. With or without a gap and will it affect accuracy? Looking for any info.

I generally set the string stop so that you could slide a business card in-between the string and the stop without it falling out.... You don't want a big gap and you don't want it so tight it's pressing the string beyond it's normal 'resting' position...

I loosened mine up and turned my bow upside down. I let it fall naturally into place and then tightened it up. No worrying if it's pressing too hard on the string or if there's too big of a gap.

I set my PSE with the string barely touching the stop. I tried it both ways and could not tell any difference in noise reduction or accuracy but with the string barely touching it completely eliminated what little string hum I had.
