I also have an Apple Economy vise that works fairly well. Although having used both that and the OMP Versa Cradle, I wish I would've sprung for the OMP. Yeah the OMP is nice for sure, just out my price range at the time. Now I am used to using the Apple and like it enough to keep it.
If you can go on Archery talk and look up a guy named spewingjason He builds some sweet little vises that thread into your stabilizer mount threads. I bought one 2 years ago and use it all the time. It allows me to use my portable press while my bow is on the vise. For Sale Spewingjason Bow Vise
I have one made by Last Chance. Does everything I need. I paid $75 (south shore archery) a couple of years ago. I don't care for the type you need to remove your stabilizer. I only used one once and it didn't hold the bow solid. Best vise is made my KTech Designs....but costs a lot. If I used one often it would be a KTech.
After having an economy version of Apple's vise for years, and having tried a few stabilizer mount vises, OMP will be my next and last vise. Nothing comes close.
