Hey everyone, So I've been researching quite a bit on my next arrows for my No Cam. I contacted Easton and they suggested, based on my setup to use a 330 spine arrow. Before they contacted me I was looking as much as I could into the Axis. Now they don't offer a 330 in the Axis, however this 2014 model the Bowfire has a 330 spine offering. I don't know much about it and have reached out to Easton on what they suggested. There isn't too many personal reviews on it out there that I can find. My question is does anyone have any experience with either one/both of these arrows? I'm not looking for the latest and greatest arrow out there however would like to get a really great arrow for my setup. If anyone has any questions please let me know! Thanks in advance, Tim
I shoot the Bowfire out of my Carbon Spyder. Absolutely love them...very tough and hard hitting. Not changing any time soon. Sent from my SM-S820L
Both arrows are of good quality. The Axis I think is more popular but that might be because it was marketed more. They do come in a 340 spine which would be close depending on your configuration. I know people that shoot them both and are quite happy. The bowfire is a close to standard diameter arrow. If you have component like lighted nock already they will work fine. The Axis is a slim diameter and is deep six compatible and you can get brass hit inserts if you want to go that route. Been looking at the Axis myself and it seems like a good fit but still weighing my options. The biggest different between the two is obviously the diameter of the shaft. Good luck choosing but either way you go I think you will be fine.
The Bowfire are not small diameter. The axis shafts are small. I've shot both and like both arrows, but prefer the Bowfire. That is just me. I've never had penetration issues outta S diameter shafts though. Sent from my SM-S820L
I'm pretty much the same with a slight longer DL. I am leaning towards the bowfire, but not too sure on the graphics. Kinda picky on my colors.

Another fan of the Axis. Never tried the Bowfire, not a fan of the gaudy grafics. That being said, I remove the factory wraps from the Axis.
I shoot the Axis 340 out of a ChillR 28DL and 72DW with 85% LO. They are right on when I do my part. RC

I have been shooting the Axis arrows and they are pretty top notch arrows. They are extremely durable and will last you a long time unless you shoot them into a cement wall. I've gone to quite a few bow shops and most of them tell me that the Axis are still one of the better selling arrows out their. I've looked at the Bowfire arrows and honestly I didn't care for them. I especially didn't like that they were a white arrow. I'm a bowhunter so I prefer something darker if we talk about looks. If you want a hard hitting arrow, i'd definitely go with the slimmer Axis instead of the Bowfire. Just my 2 cents.

Are the Bowfire loud on the rest during the draw? I originally went to Axis about 12 years ago because they were so smooth and quiet on a WB. Still shooting the Axis. Bowfire are standard size shaft. Axis is small size shaft (not mirco: 4.mm). Shaft diameter: Bowfire 6.5mm - Axis 5 mm
