I am dead set on getting Slick Tricks for next year but the problem is I cant decide if I should get the Grizz,Regular,Viper or Magnum.

Which one would you get and why ?

I have shot them all and find that they all fly the same (and kill the same)
so I guess that it comes down to whichever one you like the best!

I've been using the magnums for 5 years now. I've killed about a dozen deer with them. They are incredible. Only once did I have to track more than 100 yds

I use the standards and don't have any reason to switch. Their magnums are only 1/8" larger and when you think about it, thats only 1/16" more sticking out on each side. I don't know about anyone else, but I can't think of an instance where I said "man, if that blade were a 1/16" wider, I would have killed that deer".

You can't go wrong with Slicks though. They're by far the strongest head I've ever used and punch great holes in game.

I love my magnums....but I'd love others as well. No Slick Trick I've held or handled made me go...POS.

Freaking love how sharp and tough these heads are. My doe this year that made it 30 yards, the head went through a entry rib then barely bade it through off shoulder...cleaned it up and put new blades in it...looks brand stinkin new!

While most any head will cut "right out of the package" most every head can/should be sharpened "right out of the package."

I shoot the standards and love them. I think that those are a good way to go and the ferrules are interchangeable with magnum blades so if you want to go a touch bigger you can. In any case you can't go wrong with Slicks. Can find them cheap too.

I've shot the Standard 100's for a few years now and really like them. Put a very good hole in deer and the blades are like what was mentioned above...sharp! I like to call them stupid sharp because I hadn't cut my finger on a broadhead since I was a kid till I tried unscrewing a Slick Trick without a BH wrench. Stupid.

So many like the Magnums I'd say give them a try first since you are starting out with new.

I shoot the standard heads, they fly great and always kill when I do my part. Even on a marginal shot with time I recovered a deer. The four blades are great and I too am guilty of cutting my finger on them.

I've been shooting standards for years with no complaints. I did shoot magnums one year, but really, to me, there isn't much of a difference.

I prefer the standards. They've worked flawlessly for me.

I've shot standard Slick Tricks and I loved how they flew but I've never shot anything with them. I would go with the magnums because it gives you a little bigger cut than the standards

I shot standards this year, shot 3 deer. All three deer when down in 30 yards or less. One doe jumped the string and I only hit one lung and she still went down in 30 yards. I also am guilty of cutting a finger on fresh out of the box blades.

Shot the magnums for years. Flew great and devastating on deer.
