I've managed to lose the draw stop screw on my Bear Attitude .First where can I get one? Second can it damage the bow if I shoot it without. It does not seem to damage it , but obviously I do not over pull the string back , I maintain my draw length the best I can...please help I want to shoot more arrows but not if I'm gonna damage the bow.
It'll shoot that way but I just had a customer in the shop like 2 days ago who lost his draw stop on a Hoyt and yea I could shoot it... But if you stand to the side you can tell you're unknowingly pulling on that cable pretty hard. It also causes it to have a bad tear when paper tuning it, so if you can get to a bow shop ASAP and get a new one ordered it's best. Probably a few bucks is all Sent from my ASUS PadFone X using Tapatalk
If you have a nearby cabela's they should be able to replace it. I've had customers come in that have had that same thing happen to them, its really hard to tighten them and have them not come loose. Unlike a drawstop that screws into the cam the Bear's is a allen bolt and the stop.
a drop of lock tight on the new one would be advisable Sent from my Classic using Forum Fiend v1.3.3.
Either go to where you bought the bow or call Bear and get one or two ordered(it never hurts to have spare parts). As far as shooting goes, I would wait till you get it fixed.
Every bow manual I have ever read warns (as in danger) against shooting without the draw stop in place.
