Ok so I got to order new arrows and this chart tells me what I need to buy. I do and I think this chart is off. My set up 2013 hoyt Spyder 30 60lbs draw 28 inch draw. It said use 400's but my bow shoots 340 better. So what is a guy to do?

with out knowing the length of your arrow ad your point weight I cant help you much. Although the easy answer is if your shooting 340's better stay with em.

You should be fine at .400....

But if your shooting .340 better just stay with it.

I"ve found those arrow charts to be a bit off at times. It seems today's bows are putting a lot more pressure on the arrow with the harder cams we're seeing. IMO, I would go with the 340's. Broadheads, especially fixed heads, shoot better with a stiffer spine. Plus, by going to the 340, you can play with point weight because you'll have wiggle room. I shoot GT Pro Hunters in 340 out of a 28.5" draw, 64lb bow. I use 100gr heads, but this last season, I added 50gr insert weights to the front end and it gave me an FOC of 16%. They flew well before, but are lights out now.
