I'm far from high tech and would like to see if I can get the most out of my "smart" tools. What are the best apps for tuning a bow, shooting paper/3D, bowhunting, etc? I need to up my tech ninja skills.
Accuweather Forecasts I tried to download the "Wind" App last year but couldn't as a have an Android. I have the Hunting Calendar on my phone which I used as a quick peek to check my best chances each month. Mostly I use my Accuweather Hunting and Fishing Forecasts. Go to the blue "MENU" button and then "OUTDOOR FORCASTS" and choose either "HUNTING" or "FISHING" I have found this info particularly spot on... use it ALL the time for fishing!
HUNT by onXmaps - Public/Private Land Ownership maps for your GPS, Mobile Device, and Computer They have an app form and a hand held GPS form.. I use these maps all the time. I downloaded them last year and love them.
i don't mean to use during a hunt more along the lines of bow tuning and what not i can't remember, but one fella showed me one where it helps you set your pins.
SightTune!!! I use this for Sighting in my bow. Sight in the 20 and 30 yard pins. Then start the app, point the camera at the sight and move the slider to line up the 40, 50, 60 yard pins. It gets you damn close. Gives you more confidence when tuning in those long yardages. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.NexsysSoftwareSystems.sighttune&hl=en
