So I could be way wrong here, but if I am shooting a single pin adjustable sight, the whole sight bezel moves to compensate for yardages. So if I understand anchor point correctly, I can no longer line up my peep with the sight bezel the same at 20 yrds and 6o yrds, or I will be changing my anchor point. So when I install this sight on my knew Nitrum Turbo, should I just forget a peep sight all together, and just go off of my anchor point and kisser? what does everyone else do with single pins. Thanks for all your help in advance.
I have a large peep on my bow and it only seems to make a difference when I'm shooting 60-80 yards. It doesn't bother me at all. If I'm anchored correctly it don't make a difference.....just put the pin on the target and let r rip.
so if I understand what you are saying, it does change the anchor point, so you don't worry about peep alignment with the sight bezel, and just pay attention to your anchor, and pin placement. this is what I was thinking, but was unsure if there was even a reason to use a peep then. I have never shot without a peep though and not sure if I could handle that change.
What I do when setting up a single pin is I set my peep height so it's centered around 40 yards. That way I don't have to change majorly from 20-60 and its a lot more comfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Correct. You can still make sure your pin is centered in the peep. You can also try maxpetros suggestion. I don't shoot past 40 while hunting so my peep is good.
I have HHA sights on both of my bows and they have peep sights. I shoot all the way out to 75 yards and I have never had an issue with peep alignment.
Do you align radius of peep and sight housing up together? or do you just use you anchor point and look through peep to see pin.
You are correct at longer distances you do not align the peep with the housing just use the pin very accurate
i have 1/4" peep and my anchor allways is same 20-60 yards..never have a problem when sighting a target..
