I'm sure there are countless posts on one pins. A kid I hunt with just bought the nitrum and is getting all new stuff for it. And he wants a one pin. I only know of two people that shoot them and he asked me for advice so I thought I'd post. He wants to get out to 80-90 yards for target shooting and was wondering what's the best brands to look at.
I don't have one but I have heard HHA is a quality brand and there new top line sight comes with a 100yd tape Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My opinion I would use a 3 pin movable sight. The Black Gold Ascent is great for $170 or if he is dead set on a one pin he could get the Ascent Ambush for $185 those aren't the most expensive sights so if he bought a nitrum he should be able to afford these. If he's looking for something more price point I would get the TruGlo Range Rover. If he wants something sleek and cool looking the CBE Tek Hybrid is great you can get it for $260 in a 1,3, and 5 pin.
i use a rangerover from TruGlo single pin. i didnt use the tape but made custom marks on a blank tape. i have mine sighted in to 130 yds with my insanity.
There are many great one pin sights, it depends on how much hrs looking to spend. You can get great HHA sights for a good price the new King Pin is a bit more expensive, spot Hogg and black gold have nice single pin sights as well.
I have a range rover and most of the sight tapes come pre printed out to 100. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anyone out here with BiFocals finding the single pins are easier to deal with than the multiple pin sights? Thinkng of switching to a single
Spot hogg has the vertical travel to get you 100+ depending on the bows speed. 80-90 should be no problem. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
HHA all the way. You won't find a better single pin. On top of that they have great customer service. Anything I've ever needed from them, they have been more than happy to help.
