Hey so I have a problem, I shoot a 2012 bowtech invasion cpx, #70, 28 1/2 inch draw, 481 grain bemen bone collector arrow with 100 grain tips, and it's shooting bullets through paper, I have two sets of Broadheads, VPA 2 blade 100 grain, and NAP thunderhead razor 100 grain, at 30 yards, the NAP's are deadly accurate, but the VPA's shoot about 3-4 inches low, can anyone help me?
Yes, I thought about that, but if the VPA's don't fly the same, is something wrong with my tuning? But yeah, I really like the NAP, thx
I had a similar problem using two blade Dirt Naps. Never could get them dialed in like I wanted. I switched to a three blade and am shooting bullets, so I'm sticking with them.
You need to broad head tune with the broad heads you will be using. Not all broad heads will have the same POI and most will not have the same POI as your field points until you broad head tune...
have a look at the thread I started on this topic, I had the same problem, the blokes that replied on that were helpful.
i think broadheads fly different when your bow is out of tune. i had the problem with my bow a few months ago. one bh brand flew low left and the other brand i was trying flew right. i moved my rest until the first bh hit with field points. tried the other brand and i hit with the first. i double check bh out to 40 yds and made slight adjustments till they were right on. now im satisfied my bow is tuned up.
