Looking into a new saw that is more expandable rather than toting an 8' pole through the woods... any product recommendations and prices??

    Thanks, Tom

My vote is for Wicked!!! Buy and cry once!!! Hooyman is not that good of a product and their service sucks at least from my experience.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and look at theirs. Much less costly and I think mind extends to 8 to 10 feet.

I don't have one yet, but I'm planning on buying the Wicked saw at some point. If it is anything like the hand saw, its going to be a badass saw.

I would have to vote for wicked. I don't have their pole saw but have used one and I do own their hand saw. They are tough as nails. With my hand saw I went out of my way this year to try and break it and really test it out. Your not going to break it. I got the same feeling from the tree saw in the hour or two I used it. 1 thing though. Don't believe the hype that they are the fastest cutting saws out there. They cut no faster or slower than any other quality saw. Your paying for toughness.

Corona tools pruning saws are really nice along with their pole saws. For out of season limb cutting where I don't care so much about making noise, I have a Black & Decker cordless lithium pole saw that extends to 14'. I bought the larger lithium ion battery for it so it runs about an hour of nonstop cutting. Honestly, I thought it would be garbage, but it's turned out to be quite handy plus you don't have to mess with gas or any of that stuff. I've cut down trees up to 10" in diameter with it.
