This might be a completely off the wall question but I'm sure there is someone out there who has done some testing and maybe figured out the perfect location to place them. Basically what I'm asking is if anyone knows of the best location on the strings or cables to get the most performance from a monkey tail. I've always wondered this and thought it would make for a decent post.
I put mine where the cam serving ends. The serving helps keep them from sliding on the waxed string. I don't know if this is the most effect spot for silencing the string but it keeps it away from my peep and line of sight.
