I have a mathews creed XS that I bought this year new. The bow was perfect with minimal noise like a normal bow. Had the string replaced from a ton of league/ summer shooting. When I got the bow back I noticed a noise and couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Found a screw had broken off down on the bottom limb by the cam. I took it to the bow shop and he replaced it for me. Well I started shooting tonight and heard another vibration noise. The last time I took it to them they said they couldn't hear it. I have a video to show you the noise I'm hearing and see what you guys think. Like I said bow never made this noise before the new string. The string by the way is a vaportrail. Any help would be appreciated.
It sounds like something is loose for sure or possibly a crack in the limb. I'm assuming you've checked the limb?
Yes all the screws are good. The limb I haven't found a crack. I've never dropped or dry fired my bow. If it's a cracked limb I know the bow shop had to do it
gonna take it up to the shop soon and see if they can look again and find the problem. I checked bow again today and I don't see any cracked limbs and the bolts are tight
Well I took it to the shop again and they were pretty puzzled. Said they have never seen anything like it. They are calling mathews today and seeing what they wanna do with it. Ended up the cam was really wobbly. Bow shop replaced the bushing on the cam, noise still there. Only thing they could think of is bad bearings..... Maybe mathews will let me get the new bow they just released
