Ok guys, I'm on my first pair of rubber/neoprene boots so I'm unfamilar with the sweating when I wear them. Are there socks out there that will help with staying dry while wearing these boots? If so what socks do you guys wear? Also noted I did buy a boot dryer.

Nothing is going to get the moisture out of the boot. Your best bet is to wear a sock that will keep you warm even when wet. I wear Smartwool socks when I have to wear those types of boots.

Agreed! Smartwool socks are expensive, but are extremely comfortable, warm, and durable. If it weren't for good sucks I would have tossed my mucks in the garbage after their first season.

I change my socks as soon as I get up in my stand to a warm pair. I'm not going to sweat just sitting there in the cool and I just wear a pair regular socks I keep in my hunting tote.

I use Coolmax socks from BPS. I have been using them for years. I never have a problem with my feet sweating with them. I wear them by themselves in the warm months and I wear them as a base sock under heavier ones in the cold months. Here is a link.

I always wear UA heat gear boot socks. Don't notice alot of sweat with them. Not sure how much my feet actually sweat but do know with my job pouring concrete just wearing normal socks they do get sweaty. Although that's while doing a lot more activity besides just walking to a stand ha.

I used to love Smartwool, but I've noticed a huge decline in their quality over the last 5 years. Then I found Fits socks. Fits>Smartwool in every way.

My feet sweat all the time. 100 degrees or 0 degrees it don't matter. I wear Cabela's heavy weight wool socks. They are tall and have 90% Merino wool in the foot. I like socks over the calf so my boots don't "eat" them. There is nothing more uncomforable than having my socks all the way down in my boots. I haven't seen Fits socks so not sure about them but if a guy from MN wears them I'm sure they must work.

I wear wool socks year round, doesn't matter if I'm pouring concrete or hunting or training.
Early season I'll just wear my uninsulated Merrill's .
I'm going to try something different this year cold weather, I'll just wear my 800 gram boots out there or my Merrils , once up I'm going to take the boots of and slip into those boot blanket things.
I have to keep my feet dry because if they get cold......I'm done.

When it is really cold the boot blankets are AWESOME!! They make all the difference in the world. I'm the same, if my feet get cold I'm out!!
