I am thinking about buying a Work Sharp Knife and Tool Sharpener, Model# WSKTS

Does anyone use one? I just can't get a two blade fixed blade quite sharp enough. I'd sure use them if I could.

i wouldnt recommend buying that sharperner for sharpening broad heads. on the average the blades have more hardness in them than a regular knife. and even if you would get a belt to work it would take too much material away. go to kmesharp.com and purchase there sharpener it cost 40 bucks. i have save hundreds of dollars sharpening heads. it works great

That looks pretty sweet. Have you used the work sharp? Anyone else have one?

I have a work sharp and it works well. It tends to round off the points of the knifes as you pull the blade back and out of the slot. I don't use it on my good hunting knifes but use it on every thing else. Kitchen knives, hatchet, corn knife I use to clear brush from a ground blind area, etc.

I still use stones on my good blades. Takes time but works well.

I also have a Work Sharp and feel that it's okay. As The Old Man says it gets the job done well enough on most general purpose knives but I just can't get that razor sharp edge I'd look for on a broadhead.

Not sure if a leather strop would work for you? I use one for my heads with some White Gold Compound and gets them back to shaving sharp...it's amazing!

I have one and it does work fine, yes, it does round off the points a bit, however, it will make a knife shaving sharp with no effort.

I am trying to get them shaving sharp for the first time. I love the way the Safari Outback heads fly... But they came un-sharpened... Otherwise, I have my Muzzy Phantom SC heads. I just want something that'll take care of a big hog as well as a deer.
