Well, that is I have a TROPHY of a WIFE!

My Browning compound bow from 1991 developed the "click of death", I was majorly bummed and just week before the good bowhunting starts. She said softly and without hesitation, "lets go bow shopping, TONIGHT"!

It took some convincing on her part, we came home with a BRAND NEW, Mission by Matthews "Riot" compound bow.

    Life is good!

Congrats, and you have a keeper there! My ex wife would buy me little things for hunting for Christmas or my birthday, but then have an attitude when I would go hunt (no that's not the reason she is the ex!). It helps having someone who supports you in your hobbies/lifestyle choices, that's for sure!

It is such a SWEET setup...absolutely worth the 4 bills and then some!
I used my old QAD rest, Alpine quiver and Trophy Taker sight; A-1 Archery in Turtle Lake Wisconsin set up it up.

My days of $100 bows are done!

I bought the ballistic last year and it is an amazing bow. Now I don't know if ill ever be able to spend a grand on a mathews bow. It's hard to justify spending that much when you can spend half the amount and get such a great bow!

I know what you mean! Bought mine a year ago and am very happy with it. I think I have 700 into it. I did get a good deal on an hha which helped.
