Picked up a pack of easton fmj's this year, they are the .340s. I was looking online and it said something about using these broadhead adapter rings. Right now I have slick trick magnums and NAP killzones. I just want to know if they help protect the arrow or if they are a good idea to have. Thanks in advance!

they deffently worked on my axis. I shoot 3 deer with the same arrow . I just switched to fmj's too and I went with the the collars .I think it has to do more with the hit inserts cause the ends are exsposed so I go with them.

I think the op is either talking about deep six components or hit inserts?

Yes I'm talking about hit inserts.

I have a dozen Easton Broadhead adapter rings for my Axis. I could not get one to spin true with any BH. Junk if you ask me. NAP UBARs are very good. BUT I do not use any and haven't for years with no issues. I see no need for them. I take that back. I do have some UBARs on my brothers setup. He has Axis 400 and without the UBAR the collar of the Thunderhead hits the inside of the shaft wall before it screws all the way in. The UBAR is just enough to get the Thunderheads to seat on the end of the shaft. They spin true then.
