I searched through the tech talk threads to find my answer but I gave up. I want to tune up by weight to 70. I have a PSE Baby G-Force rated at 70# for max draw. I know how to raise it, but how do i get it to 70# exactly? Is it as tight as the limbs will go if 70# is the weight it is rated at?

    Thanks in advance!

I would just go to a pro shop and have them crank it then check it.

I agree with this. Also you might not get it to 70 on the dot. Just because it says that doesnt mean that is correct. Maxed out it might be a little over, it might be a little under. I had a 60-70lb elite and it maxed out at 66. So that is just an approximate peak draw weight.

That far under peak weight I would assume the strings stretched and the bow was out of tune. Now just cranking it down all the way will get you usually near 70. May be a little over or under but not by much. There is no need to be at exactly 70 just keep working up till it's comfortable.

Yeah i dont need it exactly at 70, I cranked it up though. I shot a few times and everything went fine but now my peep comes back crooked, any fixes for that?
