    hey guys,

just started with my new fletching jig and had a little trouble with glue, the bohning platinum glue sucks, bought the g5 blu glu and that stuff is awesome. but anyways i have blazer vanes on a few now i just started trying out. Im shooting carbon reds with my elite at 65 lbs. What kind do you guys think shoot the best? Blazers? or quickspins? open to anything really.

    Thanks alot!!!

I've been shooting QuikSpins for a few years now and I really like them.

I've had a little more luck with getting good shaft/fletch contact with a helical on my fusions than my blazers, but in reality, you can't go wrong with many of the products out there today.

I shoot Blazers a lot and they work well for me...Honestly my favorite vane is the AAE Elite 260, those vanes just flat out shoot good for me with field tips or broadheads.

I have used them both. Personally I would not use either. The blazer I had were so inconsistent they looked like they were put in wrong. The Quick spins were loud and wrinkled right away. I prefer Flex-Fletch SK-300 (or 200) & FFP-360.

I've tried a lot of vanes so far. I really like quick spins for shots inside 30 yards. Makes for a great hunter class 3D vane. They are a little noisy in my opinion but, steer a broadhead great also. Outside 30 the drag they creat causes a big drop. Not so great for open trophy and above in 3D.

I've used a few others with not so great luck at all.

So far for hunting and all around target a straight fletched blazer is my go to on a standard shaft arrow.

My target shaft go to is Bohning X2's. they are a little more expensive but, shoot great.
