Thinking of upgrading my rest to a rip cord. Any pros or cons?
I'm over the rest thats currently on my bow now. It's an adjustable(turn dial click type) prong fall away.
And most times I draw lol my arrow falls away, off to the sides of the rest. And yes I use my pointer finger to try and keep it on the rest but it's when I remove my pointer finger at full draw the arrow tends to "wonder"...

So that being said I'm looking for a rest that's gonna hold the arrow as well as do what it's supposed too..

I have a Ripcord Code Red and like it. No issues.
I have a NAP Carbon Apache. No issues. I like it better. It is quieter.

Many people love the QAD but I will never buy another. I had 3 QADs all with issues. To many moving parts to fail for me to risk it.

Mrirbic, I have an extra nap apache arrow rest that is almost brand new, if you want I can send it to you free of charge. As of now it's just sitting in my bedroom.

I have a Rip Cord I just put up for sale today. Overall I like the rest. Its good and has served its purpose for me. The reason I am selling it is because it lets down after you draw and don't shoot. If it stayed up on a slow letdown I would keep it for sure. If you are interested shoot me a PM.

I shoot a RipCord also and like frantic29 said that is one of the drawbacks with them. But it has improved my groups a lot.

Ripcords are one of the best drop aways out there but the letdown issue is a turn off for a lot of hunters.
