Its a business tactic. By pricing it like the Creed, and others, they are placing their bow in that category. They are competing against people that want to buy that level of bow. Now if it is actually as nice, that is up to the person buying it. They have been working hard to make nicer products and compete with the elite companies. Some would say $900 for the creed is steep.

Yes and the bear will probably sell for 799 in parts of the country. The msrp for the creed isnt 799.

Lol creed msrp is $999. Shots a blistering 328fps. And you don't think a bear would be in the same category? Well you are right on that, bear would
Be a better buy based on numbers. But then I'm not a mathews fan boy

Previous as in what? The last few years Bear has been kicking butt again, the Motive 6 is one of last years sweetest bows imo. No I don't own one, YET. But since I typically buy 3-5 bows a year, I'm sure I will. I almost bought the Motive over my Hoyt Spyder.

Ok so I'm new to this forum but not new to bow hunting! Today I began my bear journey and started with the agenda 7 ok so it's very very nice so far! Smooth as silk and matthews better stand back because there is next to no vibration, with my 350 Easton torch arrows it shot a whopping 321 fps that's a hunting shaft people! I just put my creed up for sale since it will not even be my back up bow since my pse pro series treestand model will beat out the matthews any questions plz ask I know now isn't even out until oct 1st but I'm privileged well kinda!

    2014 Bear line up

I have Mathews Z7, Z7 Extreme, Bowtech Insanity, Bear Motive 6. The Motive is every bit as good as my other bows. The only thing I dont like about the Motive is there strings (thats a easy fix) There price point is correct, I would disagree with anyone that says Bear is below par then Mathews, Bowtech, Hoyt, Elite...

As far as technology leaps Bear has come leaps and bounds further than what other companies have in the past couple years. That being said Hoyt, Mathews, and the like didn't have the giant gap that Bear Bows had back 5-6 years ago. Once you get to the Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, Bear, Bowtech names, no one makes a "bad" bow. It's all according to the person. Personally I wouldn't shoot a Bear, or a Bowtech, or a Mathews, but I'm not going to say any of them are a bad company or make crap bows. I know plenty of guys who shoot their bows and could put most people to shame.
