Can anyone give me some insight on the G5 T3 broadheads? I tried searching on here but T3 is too short it won't let me search..

I switched to these heads the last week of the season here but didnt get to try them out in anything but a target. They seem to shoot great out of my Mathews z7x from 0-40 yards. I normally shoot the Montec's but wanted to try an expandable. Staying away from the Rage hype..

Any first hand info would be great!

Absolutely right about the Rage hype. Shot 2 deer this season with Rage and both went it huge and came out small. Have shot a few deer with the T3s and I can tell you the blades on them may look flimsy but they are quite rigid. This head will cut big on entrance and exit. The only downside is the clips can be a little finicky and I believe they get that way by guys(self included)pushing on the blade to see how much it takes to open. Don't worry , they open just fine.

I harvested 2 deer with them a couple years ago and they worked great. I switched to rage chisel tips in a 3 blade and killed 2 with those this year. No real reqson for switxhing I just like trying new things.

Try giving G5 a call, they were a great help when I was looking at new heads.

Well I ended up shooting two deer so far with them this year, one a small doe that made it 20 yards before taking a nap, and the other a 200lb+ 14 pointer that made it about 130 yards with deflated lungs and a broken leg. Needless to say I am VERY impressed!
