So i sold my 2015 source hd the other day and looking to get a new bow. I am looking for something i can hunt with as well as shoot 3d in non hunting season. I just dont want to wrap up that much money in 2 bows right now since i have never shot 3d before.

    Is this a bad idea?

Info or help on bows. I am currently looking at the Evolve 35.

I would use any hunting bow for 3D but that's because I consider 3D to be hunting practice.

If I were specifically looking for bow that could double as a hunting/competition rig, I would look at the Energy 35, Impulse 34, or the Synergy from Elite.

I don't know specifically what other companies have to offer but a ATA in the +/- 34" range is generally considered to be a good balance between a long ATA target bow and a short ATA hunting bow.

Sorry about the title. I was looking at the PSE Evolve 35. 35 axle to axle.

I've heard those PSEs are very accurate. The 34" Hoyt Defiant Pro is on my bucket list....
