Haven't shot much 3d this year or last. Only a couple early last year. I was able to get out this weekend and shoot a little. I registered as a fun shooter and shot from the hunter stake. Slider hha would have disqualified me. Considering I was shooting my 498 gr hunting arrow at 230 fps, I didn't want to shoot the open stake having not judged yardage in over a year. I was real happy with my shooting and even my yardage was pretty good. I had 3 yardage 8's. All in all, I was really happy with a 305 on 30 targets. Thanks, guys. I had a blast, hope I can find time to get back out there. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Awesome score for a hunter class... 40 yrd max? And what exactly is a 11? we have 10's and 12's(x) no 11's?
Center 10 is counted as 11. Atleast they used to be. :D Hunter class has a 35 yard max. This course wasn't overly tough through the first 10 or so targets but got really good after that. Field shots, hills, shadows. Friends of mine own the property and set it up. They did a good job. I only took 3 warm up shots, as you can see by the slow start. Should have caught a few more 11's earlier. sent from my samsung note 2
This was ibo center 11's and what most clubs around here shoot. I have shot corner 12's at ASA shoots in the past. Even a few national and state sanctioned events. I have seen the ibo go through center 12's, 11's, x's. Not really even sure what ibo is scoring them now. sent from my samsung note 2
Nice shooting! I'm getting ready to shoot my first 3-d since I was 22, which is about a 16 year lay-off I can assure you my score will look nothing like that but I am real excited to get out there again.
