So I was shooting tonight, and a neighbor was watching/talking to me while I shot. I shot a few at 20 and 30, shooting very well..... Backed up to 50, and dropped 3 right in the sweet spot. It was getting late, so I decided to try the sight light on a a shot at 50...... Completely missed the target left. I missed left over 12" left..... I'm not sure if I closed my left eye or not, but dang. That sucked. I moved up to 20 with the light on, closed my left eye, and was spot on.

Happens to me every once in a while too. Every shot isn't gonna be perfect or this would be too easy. You just hope that one doesn't come when you're in the stand.

honestly i agree with the dont get cocky to a point but i do believe that you have to have confidence in your shot, your natural shooting ability and that, that arrow is going where you are sending it. with that being said if you shoot compound and you have never missed a target then you dont shoot enough.
