I'm looking for a new release and just wondering what everyone uses and suggests to get.

Trufire hard core max, best release I've ever used. I love it.

Try as many as you can. I rotate through three (Carter Target 4, Scott Longhorn Pro, and Scott Backspin). If you are up for it, I would suggest trying a back tension. They can be a little nerve wracking at first but once you used to it they are great. Lots of people use them to get over target panic or trigger punching habits.

Shot a 'hook-style' release the other day - WOW... what a difference! I'm thinking of changing.

I worked with a Scott Longhorn for 6 months to cure a few target panic issues, since then have used a Stan JustX four finger. I love it, fits my hand very well. It has absolutely no travel... By the time you apply steady pressure, shot is gone. It's helped on my follow thru.

Tru Fire Hurricane for the compound. I just picked it up at Walmart on clearance sale for half price.

    For the recurve, fingers. :)

I was thinking on getting one soon. I was looking at the true fire. Right now I shoot a cobra from walfart. Its not bad but I would like to try something different.
