I'm looking at buying a new target this spring. I have one block right now that is just falling apart. I would like a 3D target, but would do a block that had the vitals on it. I'd also like one that is both field point and broadhead compatible. Any recommendations?
Bulldog Targets - Archery Targets Lifetime Warranty. I can't remember if they are compatible with both broad heads and field points and I don't believe they have a vital face to them but it's hard to pass up a lifetime warranty.

Rinehart 18-1 or Rinehart Broadhead Buck. I've spent a lot of money on targets over the past 20 years. The best money I have spent is on Rinehart.
Another vote for Rinehart. Ive had the 18-1 for four years and I'm still not getting arrows all the way through it
I have a BullDog FP Target. I've been shooting at it for no more than 2-3 weeks. The thing is amazing. Compact and Light weight for its size, 24 inch face and about 8-9 inches wide. Depending on how you look at it, the first 100 shots at the target are LOUD as heck. If I hadn't been standing there with the target I would have thought it was a gun. I intend to destroy the target like I did to my mckenzie shot blocker. The lawn was littered with slivers and chunks of target after heavy shooting for 2-3 hours almost every day for 3-4 months I will not ever buy any other target after the Bulldog target. The only exception being a 3d targets later on. Their customer service is really good too.
Them 3D targets are pricy but really cool. I don't have one but more than likely will at some point end up with a buck or elk target...again .. super nice. Another option you can roll around is a DIY Carpet style target. I made one with free carpet from the classifieds, cut into 18" wide X 3' 11" strips Stack in a frame, compress with all thread (5/8") (2 on each side) Painted burlap target face. This is heavy, a ton of work, and needs wheels to roll around. It will last a very long time. Good Luck! Keep Shooting!
I shoot a Block and have it to the point I have make my own targets that don't cover the center or 4 corners. I've heard the Rhineharts hold up well to shooting and the weather. I am curious how hard or easy it is to remove an arrow from them? Can anyone expound?
I have shot the living hell out of my Rhinehart RhinoBlock target, and it looks basically new still besides a little bit of fading paint. Arrow removal is easy, but it's not 2 finger removal easy. But then again my arrows sink pretty deep compared to some, but there is no grunting or cussing when removing them either.
Do yourself a favor and look at HIPS Archery Targets (hipstargets.com) Will stop any arrow - can shoot broadheads - target tips - will take a beating! Have a friend in Madison,WI with one that has over 10,000 shots in it(it is the X2 Grizzly) and it still stops arrows!! yes i pro staff for them but with 4 shooters in the family i have to really stretch the shooting budget and the HIPS targets help me do that!! you can pull your arrows out of a Rinehart with two fingers ~ plus you can save a few coin$ buying a Redhead 3D deer model as they are made by Rinehart for Bass Pro
I use a cheapo blackhole target i get from amazon. For 30 bucks it gets the job done lol. Tho i need a target that doesnt get ripped to hell when I use the broadheads lol
