Just wanted to show ya'll where most of my target practice takes place and see what some of ya'lls lanes look like. Should probably clean up some of those old targets laying around. And yes I know my fence looks like crap, my wife decided it would be a great idea to paint it while I was at work, and never finished it. haha
Never enough to be off the targets. Always take warmup shots at 10 yards just to make sure nothing has changed drastically so I don't send a present to my neighbors behind me.
Looks like the fence has been hit already. Unless its just my eyes seeing a missing part of the fence.
Here is mine from 70yd. I'll have to take one closer up tomorrow but, I have a 12' wide by about 5' high backstop made from 4 layers of carpet and 2 layers of old foam backing. Arrows will pass through it but, usually don't make it 4 feet past it.
I don't have a certain spot I shoot. I own 101 acres where I live..I just sit my targets up in one of the fields. Sometimes I take my deer over by one of my stands and shoot from it.
That board laying over on its side is one that started warping once it started snowing down here. So far have been able to keep em all in foam. Really wish I had some land so I could build a nice lane.
My neighbors had a setup like that in their backyard in the city up against a wooden fence.....they used to love it....the guy behind them didn't when an arrow stuck in the oil tank of his brand new Harley road king he just picked up.....12 miles on it I believe he said when it happened....they don't shoot in the back yard anymore..... hahahaha I have to admit I would be pretty ticked off if someone stuck an arrow in my bike. I hate living in this clustered neighborhood. One day soon I will have some land and I can set up about 20-30 targets for a 3D range.
