If you know a child that will USE this bow, I will send it to you free of charge.

Please only take this if the child will use it. Other wise you are taking it from another kid who would enjoy it.

Well, I guess it isn't toally free.... By taking this bow you agree to take and share photos of the child shooting the bow once you get arrows for it.

    Deal?

    Scott,
If you still have it, what is the weight and length of the draw??? I may know a kid, but it might be too big/heavy.

Have you checked with any of the local Boy Scout troops and packs? The troop in my local area has an archery club associated with the Boy Scout troop. We have gathered plenty of equipment for them, but the troop in you local area might have a need.

Great thing you are doing for sure and I am a firm believe that good things happend to and for people like yourself!

Scott, I think my son would love it! He got a Lil' Brave (he demanded an 'indian' bow) last August for his birthday, and he's about shot the rest off it. I put an old Cobra sight on it, and a Brave quiver, and he's shooting a patriot jr release(go figure). He's more than ready for the next step. He's pulling about 22 lbs, and has a 21 inch draw. I will take pictures whenever he shoots if you would like. He has already decided what broadheads he wants to use. We go to GM 2x week, and he's shooting maybe 15" groups at 20 yds(quite an arch to the arrows). He is 8 and 1/2 yrs old, and this weekend we plan to go up north to bother the squirrels and stump shoot. Lately he's been VERY pushy about shooting more. Let me know, Thanks.

Personally, I think this bow is a little on the light side for youth hunting. Seriously, kids these days are overweight. It's a widely-publicized epidemic (child obesity). If you'd happen to take a shot at a fat one, chances are, you'd have serious penetration issues.

Just my opinion here, but I wouldn't hunt any youths over 40-50 pounds with this bow. It's just not the responsible thing to do.
