Hey guys im still new to bowhunting.
    Hunting in general.
Im getting tighter groups at longer distances.
Since i'm from this part of texas i'm wondering if anyone has hunted down here and what experineces have they had.
Im planning on hunting hogs sometime in august.
    But any stories are welcomed.
    Thanks.

Welcome fellow Texan. Check out the Texas draw hunts on the tpwd site. Probably won't get drawn for a couple years or so but get started if you haven't to earn points and look for ones that have standby. As far as a hog hunt in august. I would say wait for cooler weather.
